This initiative focuses on Networking and Cyber Security training through the Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad), offering valuable upskilling and career-oriented exposure to technical students across India.

The Cisco Virtual Internship Program is designed to empower students with in-demand skills, enhance their employability, and support India’s digital skilling vision. The internship is completely virtual, allowing participation from anywhere in India.

Program Structure
1. Eligibility Criteria
- Open to students from Cisco NetAcad partner institutions
- Final year students are not eligible
- Students must be in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of their technical program
2. Registration Process
- Register on the AICTE Internship Portal
- Contact your institution’s NetAcad instructor
- Begin designated courses on netacad.com
3. Course & Badge Completion
- Complete assigned online courses
- Submit proof of course completion and digital badge link
4. Industry Interaction & Project Work
- Attend Cisco’s industry sessions
- Work on problem statements under instructor supervision
5. Final Quiz & Certification
- Complete the project
- Submit the final quiz
- Get a virtual internship certificate upon successful completion
